Social Media FAQ's
Q. Do I have to publish my email campaign to Social Media?
A. No you are able to skip it completely.
Q. Can I delete my Facebook post or Twitter tweet?
A. Yes, you will need to login to either account that you have posted to and delete it from there.
Q. What will it look like?
A. There is a preview button on the Publish section when creating your email campaign. You can view what it will look like on either Facebook or Twitter from here.
Q. Do I have to login to Facebook or Twitter every time I send an email campaign?
A. You may have to yes. Facebook & Twitter only allow sessions to last for a certain amount of time. Sometimes you'll find you are still logged in, sometimes you may have been logged out because of this. If you change your password on either site you will need to login again when publishing your email campaign.
Q. Are there statistics available for social media?
A. Currently the statistics will show you whether or not your campaign was published to Facebook or Twitter. We are looking at expanding this into a much more detailed report later in the year.
Q. Do I have to pay to post to Social Media sites?
A. Absolutely not.
Q. Do I have to have a Facebook or Twitter account?
A. Yes you do. You can either create an account for your business or a personal account that you can post your email campaigns to.
Q. Can I post my SMS campaigns to Facebook or Twitter?
Q. Can I modify the text that is posted on Facebook or Tweeted?
A. That's currently not available but we may consider it down the track.
A. To ensure that we released this upgrade smoothly and in a timely manner we have not included this ability to the Social Media publishing area at the moment. However we will be looking at updating this for future releases.
Q. Can I post on Facebook as a Company if I am an approved administrator?
A. Not at the moment. Currently all posts that are published to Facebook will appear to be posted from the account you are logged into.
