Conditional Content Testing

Posted by Zulu eDM Team, Last modified by Victoria Zulu on 02 February 2016 01:49 PM

When you have conditional content included in your campaign you may notice you will receive more than one version of the campaign when you send a test to your email address.

This is because the system sends a copy of each email that will be delivered if you are using conditional content in your campaigns.

-------------------------------------------------

Example #1
– Conditional Content for recipients  in one Group – and all others. In this example we added conditional content for recipients in the "Freemium Pre-Registrations" group. Everyone else received the regular campaign. When a test was sent we were able to review both versions of the content.

Example #2 -
Conditional Content for recipients in different groups – In this example we added conditional content for our recipients in separate groups who had indicated their interest in certain areas of our business.

*Remember if you are sending to groups other than those specified in your conditional content you will see a test (highlighted in white below) that shows you the version everyone else will see.*

Example #3 -
Conditional Content for recipients in multiple groups – In this example we added conditional content for our recipients who were in ALL of the groups {Product Updates, Engagement Ideas and Offers}. This means that the conditional content will only be displayed to people who are in all of the groups (unlike the example above).

*Remember if you are sending to groups other than those specified in your conditional content you will see a test (highlighted in white below) that shows you the version everyone else will see.*
