How can I clean the database from the Failed and Bouncebacks I get after a campaign is delivered?

With the bounce backs from each email campaign - it's a semi-automated process.

Emails Failed/System Errors – will need to be looked at individually and can be downloaded from the email campaign report here (see images below).

From the downloaded CSV you can see below the highlighted issues with each email address. You will need to search for this email address in the system and then update it accordingly.

Hard bounces - are automatically unsubscribed but you can download this list from the email campaign report here (see image below)

From the downloaded CSV you can sort by "type" to display all the "bad domain" errors. These are the ones that potentially can be resolved because it's an issue with the information AFTER the @ symbol.

What you can do is type in into Google to see if there is another URL for the website, in this case the website URL is so what you can update this email address to is (remove the .au) to see if that resolves the issue.

Soft bounces - are usually the hardest to resolve because there are various reasons for the bounce backs and they are not always consistent bounce backs e.g. one reason for a soft bounce is that person's in box is full. The next time you send they might have had time to clean it out so the email will get through the next time.

What is a good idea is to download the report and sort by "Type" to get an idea of why the majority are bouncing.

there are a couple of things that can be done to try and improve your soft bounces:

1. Setting up DKIM records for the mail server at
(you will need your IT team to do this)
2. Altering the content of the email to include more free text (rather than an image heavy email)
