Updating the Style of a Link

Posted by Shaka Zulu on 23 May 2014 02:06 PM

Usually links look like this when adding them you email content. But what if you want to chaage the link so that it looks like this, or this, or this?

You can do that by adding a "style" into the actual link in the HTML code.

This will be easiest for people with some knowledge of HTML code.

Step 1:

First you will need to go into the HTML code of your email and find the link you are trying to update. Easiest way to do this is to press CTRL + F on your keyboard and type the name of the link.

The link will look something like this: <a href="http://publicholidays.com.au/#2014http://">public holiday calendar</a>

Step 2:

What you need to do is add the style you need into this section of code beteeen the "a" and the "href". As in the example below.

<a style="color: #00B7F3; font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 14px; line-height: 150%; text-align: left; text-decoration:none;" href="http://publicholidays.com.au/#2014http://">public holiday calendar</a>
