New Editor Options

There's a New Editor Option when creating your Email Templates. (Please note: that all existing templates created before the 19 January 2012 will automatically transferred to the WYSIWYG Editor Option). |
Below is a run down on each one with an example using one of our sample templates already within the system.
WYSIWYG Editor: The WYSIWYG Editor option is what you have been using to create your email templates and campaigns up until the Version 1.9.10 upgrade on the 19th January 2012. The new version is very much the same as the previous version, in fact you probably wont even notice the changes. The WYSIWYG Editor should be used if you are NOT familiar with HTML Code and would like to make changes to your template or campaign during the creation process. Below is a comparison of the WYSIWYG before and after the upgrade.

HTML Code Only Editor: The HTML Code Only Editor is the new editor option that will be available once Version 1.9.10 is released on the 19th January 2012. The HTML Code Only Editor should ONLY be used by users who are familiar with HTML code or users who have been provided a HTML template by their designers to simply copy and paste into the editor.
Images can be updated in the HTML Code Only Editor using the "Replace Images" icon. Ideally designers would create external links to the images but if not you will need to upload the images into the Images and Files area of your account before using the "Replace Images" icon.
Below is an example of the template above in the HTML Code Only Editor:
