Should I remove contacts from my database after they have Unsubscribed?

We STRONGLY advise you NOT to remove contacts that have unsubscribed from your database, simply because if they are removed you run the risk of re-importing them via another .CSV file and re-subscribing them.
Unsubscribes are managed securely from the system either via the edit user screen or via the unsubscribe link in your EDM or SMS Campaigns.

To ensure you follow SPAM legislation it is YOUR responsibility that you maintain your database's accuracy.
